40 years ago, Alan Parker’s ‘Bugsy Malone’ delighted audiences young and old with its heart-warming take on an American gangster story. The use of young actors and a musical score, as well as custard pies instead of bullets, inspired the imagination of many.
To celebrate 40 years since the release of Bugsy Malone, The Quarry Theatre is hosting a special exhibition of behind the scenes photos from the filming of Bugsy Malone, as well as a collection of drawing detailing the story board of the shots that later appeared on screen. This fascinating exhibition gives us a glimpse into a world rarely seen, detailing the fun and excitement on set from a film that remains in the hearts of generations of film fans.
Exhibition open: Today to Friday 23rd December (10.00am – 12noon Mon – Fri)
