Coronavirus Guidelines

The Quarry Theatre is working hard to minimise the risk of Coronavirus to our community. We have therefore taken the decision to cancel all performances, non-essential visits and events up until the end of August 2020. As such we are currently operating a ‘core business only’ policy and focussing on internal activities.

If you were due to visit The Quarry Theatre for any reason other than essential business, or wish to arrange to do so before the beginning of September, please contact your host who will aim to recommend an alternative plan of action, if possible.

Anyone needing to make an essential visit to The Quarry Theatre should not enter the site if they have either of the following symptoms:

  • A new continuous cough, or
  • A high temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher)

Please do not visit us if you have been in direct contact with anyone with a confirmed or suspected case of Coronavirus in the last 14 days.

If your visit falls within the essential category and you develop symptoms of Coronavirus whilst at The Quarry Theatre, please inform your host immediately and follow his or her advice. If you develop symptoms within 14 days of visiting the theatre, please inform us as soon as possible by emailing us at

We realise that this approach may cause inconvenience and disappointment to all those who were hoping or had planned to visit the theatre, but we ask that you please bear with us on this and appreciate that our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community.

We thank you very much for your help and understanding of our position.
