The Joni Mitchell Story

Saturday 10th March, 8.00pm

The Joni Mitchell Story takes you on an emotive journey through the life of nine-time Grammy Award winner and folk music pioneer Joni Mitchell.

This ground-breaking “show-umentary” format gives a fascinating insight into the artist and her music.

Both engaging and poignant, this challenging back catalogue is delivered by the sublime Charlotte Brereton with a genuine love of the music and whose vocal ability is rivalled only by the great Joni Mitchell herself. Includes spellbinding renditions of Both Sides Now, A Case of You, Big Yellow Taxi and many more.

The Joni Mitchell Story enjoyed a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017 where it delighted audiences and wowed critics

Audience comments from Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017:

“This show moved me to tears.”

“Charlotte Brereton’s soaring, beautiful voice tells the poignant story behind Joni Mitchell’s complex songs and lyrics. Moving and uplifting.”

“Absolutely beautiful renditions of legendary artist Joni Mitchell. The show is great mix of documentary and live music and the best thing about it is that Charlotte’s voice sounds very similar to Joni in a natural and effortless way which I loved!”
