Bedford School and Bedford Girls’ School present

The Red Shoes

Wednesday 24th May and Thursday 25th May, 7.30pm

Based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen and the poetry of Anna Maria Murphy

This ensemble performance, combining dance and theatre, will immerse the audience in the menace and imagination of one of the great fairy tales. Our company of circus players will explore this dark, haunting and multifaceted tale.

The three girls cannot resist the red shoes. Surely, such wondrous creations will make them dance even better? But what happens when they cannot take them off?

Anybody that has seen Kneehigh Theatre company’s production of this tale, will love this show.

The Music for this production has been specially composed by Oliver Graham (LVI Bedford School).
