The Quarry Theatre presents

The Pilgrim’s Progress – POSTPONED

Saturday 2nd May, 2.30pm

We are currently working on sorting a new date for this film screening. This will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Quarry Theatre is working hard to minimise the risk of Coronavirus to our community. We have therefore taken the decision to cancel all performances, non-essential visits and events up until the end of June 2020. As such we are currently operating a ‘core business only’ policy and focussing on internal activities.

Christian faces distractions, challenges, and perils at every turn of the way. But ends victorious, with helpful guides, as he stays on the narrow path to the distant Celestial City.

Based on John Bunyan’s epic masterpiece, THE PILGRIM’S PROGRESS is one of the most popular books of all time, and one of the most important stories of our faith!

Second to the Bible in total copies and translations, the story was written by John Bunyan a pastor, imprisoned for sharing his faith.  This powerful allegory helps families understand the spiritual journey is the most important journey in life, as well as the importance of sticking to the path, even when the journey gets difficult.

An epic journey, faithfully adapted to modern-day.

“Bunyan’s ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ is to my mind one of the greatest books that ever was written.” PRESIDENT TEDDY ROOSEVELT

“My old favorite author, Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress … has been translated into most of the languages of Europe, and suppose it has been more generally read than any other book, except perhaps the Bible.” BEN FRANKLIN
